Stem volume -

…It is the volume of wood, and can be divided into stem volume, branch volume, etc. depending on what is being measured, but when people normally say volume, they usually mean the volume of the stem. There are two ways to measure volume: the actual volume, which shows the true volume, and the layered volume, which is used for wood such as firewood, where each piece is small and irregular in shape, making it difficult to measure the actual volume.
