In Japanese interpretations of Buddhist scriptures, it is used to mean "karma." In Sanskrit, it is translated as "action" or "fate" that accumulates as a result of action. Karma refers to the law of cause and effect, which states that "any action in the past (life), whether good or bad, will come back to you eventually." It is an idea that underlies Vedic philosophy, which is the foundation of Indian astrology. Source : Academy of Divination School About the Divination Glossary |
