〘Noun〙① (It is said because anger was thought to build up inside the body and form a ball, and because tantrums are expressed as "bursts" or "explosions") = tantrum ※ Seiyo Dochu Hizakurige (1870-76)〈Kanagaki Robun〉10 "A tantrum ball would bubble up over the smallest of things."② A child's toy. A small amount of gunpowder and emery wrapped in paper and shaped into a small ball. When thrown against the ground or other hard surface, it explodes and makes a loud noise.
