It is surrounded by the Rumoi River, Uryu River, Ishikari River, and the Sea of ​​Japan. On the Sea of ​​Japan side, there are sea cliffs about 100 meters above sea level, and Cape Ofuyu, and a few coastal terraces can also be seen.
