Sake from Nagano. The name of the sake comes from the fact that clear water springs from Iwafune, where the third-generation brewer was born. They offer a mellow daiginjo sake and a light, dry honjozo sake. The rice used is Yamada Nishiki and Shirakabanishiki. The brewing water is from underground water in the Izawa River system. The brewery, Igaya Sake Brewery, was founded in 1853. It is located in Nakano, Nakano City. Source: Kodansha [Sake, Honkaku Shochu, Awamori] Brand Collection Information |
