"Revenge of Haruhi Sumiyoshi" - The Vengeful Haruhi Sumiyoshi

...From January 11 of the following year, Tenno-chaya-shu was also performed at the Nakayamaza in Kyoto. In January 1896 (Kansei 8), a nine-act Joruri piece, Kataki Uchiharu no Sumiyoshi, was created by Nakagawa Shiusuke and Tsutsuto Kyo. This work was adapted into Kabuki as Ehon Tenka-chaya-shu, which was performed at a theater in Osaka in August 1832 (Tenpo 3).
