After the change of direction by the 6th All Japan Federation of Student Self-Government Association, the resentment against the Communist Party, which tried to lead the student movement such as the All Japan Federation of Student Self-Government Association to a line of daily demands and self-care, led to the All Japan Federation of Student Self-Government Association's break with the Communist Party and the birth of the Bund (Communist League) (December 1958). At the 14th Congress in June 1959, the Bund took the lead in the All Japan Federation of Student Self-Government Association from the Revolutionary Communist League (Revolutionary Communist League), which was created by reorganizing the Japanese Trotskyist League, and demonstrated its leadership in the 1960 Security Treaty struggle (see the entry on the Japan-US Security Treaty). 5.8 million people nationwide participated in the unified action, and the Diet struggle reached its peak on June 15th, when a petition demonstration by 110,000 people surrounded the Diet, and Tokyo University student Michiko Kawaba was killed in a clash with police. ...
