Kaga Onsenkyo

A general term for hot spring areas in the southwest of Ishikawa Prefecture. It refers to Yamanaka Onsen, Yamashiro Onsen, and Katayamazu Onsen in Kaga City, and Awazu Onsen in Komatsu City, and is a nationally renowned hot spring area. Many hot springs have been open since ancient times, and there are many tourist spots in the area, such as the remains of Ataka Barrier, the Shinohara battlefield, Natadera Temple, Ioji Temple, and Choryutei. The area is blessed with nature, including mountains, sea, and lagoons, and the inns have excellent facilities and services. It is also conveniently located with easy access to transportation, including the JR Hokuriku Main Line, the Hokuriku Expressway, and Komatsu Airport.

石川県南西部にある温泉地の総称。加賀市の山中温泉、山代(やましろ)温泉、片山津(かたやまづ)温泉、小松市の粟津(あわづ)温泉をいい、全国的に著名な温泉地である。古くから開けた温泉が多く、周囲に安宅(あたか)ノ関跡、篠原(しのはら)古戦場、那谷寺(なたでら)、医王寺、長流亭など観光地も多く、山、海、潟などの自然にも恵まれ、旅館の設備、サービスも整っている。JR北陸本線、北陸自動車道、小松空港など交通の便もよい。
