External auditory canal

...the correct anatomical name is the pinna ('pinna' means shell), and part of it has a cartilage core. The ear hole (external ear canal) is located slightly below and forward from the center of the pinna. With so many morphological elements, and because these are moved by the muscles in extremely subtle ways to produce facial expressions, as will be explained later, the face is the part of the human body that most clearly expresses individuality.
