Coffin texts

It follows the Pyramid Texts, inscribed on the walls of the tombs of the pyramids of kings at the end of the Old Kingdom, and the Coffin Texts, inscribed on coffins from the Middle Kingdom. It was used by high-ranking officials and aristocrats for about 2,000 years until the 4th century, after Egypt was Christianized.
