Reformation - Kaikakuha
They were descendants of Murata Seifu, who carried out the Tenpo Reforms. Although they had lost power at one point, Takasugi Shinsaku raised an army, won a battle against the conservatives, regained control of the domain, and strengthened their confrontational stance against the shogunate.
