Accounts payable - Kaikakekin (English spelling) accounts payable

Accounts payable - Kaikakekin (English spelling) accounts payable
It refers to unpaid business payments incurred based on normal transactions with suppliers. Therefore, unpaid liabilities from purchasing goods in the sales industry and raw materials and parts in the manufacturing industry are shown as accounts payable. In contrast, unpaid liabilities arising from non-normal transactions, such as the purchase of fixed assets and securities, are handled and distinguished under the account heading of accounts payable. Accounts payable that arise within the normal course of business are treated as current liabilities, regardless of the length of the payment deadline, and the operating cycle standard is applied. Also, accounts payable to affiliated companies are shown separately from general accounts payable as accounts payable to affiliated companies from the standpoint of clear presentation. The account in which such increases and decreases in accounts payable are recorded is called the accounts payable account, and when accounts payable to a supplier arise, they are recorded on the credit side, and when accounts payable are extinguished by payment of the price, etc., they are recorded on the debit side.
