A mountain in the northern part of Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture. It is the highest peak in the prefecture, with an elevation of 526 meters. The entire mountain has relatively steep slopes and is made up of ancient metamorphic rocks of the Tsumuru Formation, which are presumed to be Paleozoic. It is made up of natural subtropical forest vegetation and is included in Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park, with the northern foothills designated as a special conservation area. It is the source of the Nagura River and Miyara River, and there is a hiking trail from the village of Omoto. It is also considered the sacred mountain of Ishigaki Island.
