Following this principle, two films shot at the same angle as the parallax of the human eye are simultaneously projected on a screen, and the audience can distinguish the overlapping images as left and right, giving them a sense of three-dimensionality. It was first invented by Jack Norling in 1935, and MGM released it as a cheap thriller-comedy short film under the name "Audioscopes."
