A literary magazine. It was first published in October 1909 (Meiji 42). It ceased publication in February of the following year. It consisted of two volumes. Its members were Kitahara Hakushu, Kinoshita Mokutaro, and Nagata Hideo. It was founded by poets from the "Pan no Kai" (Bread Society), which was the center of the aesthetic art movement in modern Japan, and is a stylish 46x4 magazine with exotic and urban atmospheres on every page. Nagai Kafu, Kambara Ariake, and others also contributed. The first issue featured poems such as Hakushu's "Weed Garden" and Hideo's "The Yet to Be Born Imperial Theater," and the second issue featured Mokutaro's "Exotic Atmosphere." However, Hakushu's poem "Okaru Kanpei" in the second issue was banned for being corrupting public morals, and the magazine was discontinued.
