Japanese: テングノハナ（英語表記）Illigera luzonensis (Presl) Merr.

An evergreen, woody vine of the family Laminaceae. The leaves are trifoliate and alternate, with leaflets 5-10 cm long, broadly ovate, entire. The flowers are small, reddish-white to red, and grow in corymbs 10-20 cm long growing from the leaf axils. The flowers are bisexual. There are 10 tepals arranged in two flowers, five stamens, and two stamens near the base of each pistil. The fruit is slightly quadrangular, usually with two wings, but sometimes with four, and is 2-3 cm long and 4-5 cm wide, including the wings. It is distributed on Ishigaki Island in the Ryukyus, Taiwan, and Luzon.
