Born December 24, 1922. Debuted at the 8th Tokyo Dance Festival of the Shochiku Girls' Revue in 1937. Became a senior member in 1944, and became a star male actor alongside Kawaji Ryuko. In 1972, she was the first to receive the Arts Encouragement Prize in the revue world. She left the troupe in 1980. She also appeared in many films, including "Dancing Dragon Palace."
