Entomonotis is a type of marine bivalve that flourished in the Triassic Period of the Mesozoic Era. It is known as a standard stone and is found in large quantities in the upper Triassic Period. It has been excavated in various parts of Japan, including the southern Kitakami Mountains and the Nariwa region of Okayama Prefecture (Takahashi City).
