Okitsu (Chiba)

...A city in the southeastern part of Chiba Prefecture, facing the Pacific Ocean. In 1955, Katsuura Town, Okitsu Town, Sono Village, and Kamino Village were merged to form Katsuura Town, and in 1958, it became a city. Population: 24,328 (1995).
