Government monopoly - Gyosei Senbai

... refers to a monopoly by the state or other public authority over the production or sale of a particular product for some administrative purpose. Depending on their purpose, monopolies can be divided into financial or profitable monopolies and administrative or non-profitable monopolies. The former are those in which the government or other entity has the exclusive right to produce and sell a particular product in order to obtain financial revenue, such as the monopoly on tobacco and alcohol (high-alcohol drinks).
