Eads Bridge : A bridge over the Mississippi River in eastern Missouri, USA. It connects St. Louis and East St. Louis. Its maximum span is 158 meters. It was built in 1874 using the pneumatic caisson method, designed by construction engineer James Eads. It was originally the longest steel arch bridge in the world.
