Ohi Chozaemon

… Senso Soshitsu, the fourth generation after Rikyu, initially aspired to be a doctor and studied under Noma Gentaku, calling himself Genshitsu. After Gentaku's death, he returned to the Sen family and later served as the tea ceremony and utensils commissioner for Maeda Toshitsune, the lord of Kaga. During this time, he traveled from Kyoto to Kanazawa accompanied by Ohi Chozaemon, opened the Ohi ware kiln, and instructed Miyazaki Kanji in casting tea kettles. He went by the name of Rogetsuan, and was also friends with Oda Uraku's grandson Sangoro Choyoshi. …
