Oji [town] - Ouji
A town in Kitakatsuragi County in the northwest of Nara Prefecture, at the southeastern foot of the Ikoma Mountains. It has long been an important transportation hub, as it is where the Yamato River flows out into the Osaka Plain. It is on the Kansai Main Line and is a junction for the Wakayama Line, Kintetsu Ikoma Line, and Tawaramoto Line. In recent years, it has been developed into residential areas. It is home to Daruma Temple, which is associated with Prince Shotoku. Area: 7.01 km2 . Population: 22,182 (2010).

奈良県北西部，生駒(いこま)山地南東麓にある北葛城(きたかつらぎ)郡の町。大和川が大阪平野へ流出する出口に当たる古くからの交通要地で，関西本線が通じ，和歌山線，近鉄生駒線・田原本(たわらもと)線の分岐点。近年宅地化も進んでいる。聖徳太子ゆかりの達磨(だるま)寺がある。7.01km2。２万2182人（2010）。
