1912-1985 An actor from the Showa era.
Born June 5, 1912. After working as an actor in the Shinkokugeki theatre company, he made his film debut in "Aozora Roshi" in 1937, becoming a mid-career star in period dramas. After the war, he continued to enjoy popularity in Toei's series such as "Tange Sazen," "Umon Torimonochō," and "Kaiketsu Kurotokin." In his later years, he performed well in TV dramas and the film "Tanpopo," but committed suicide on September 27, 1985. He was 73 years old. Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Graduated from Matsuyama Middle School. His real name was Nakatomi Shozo.

明治45年6月5日生まれ。新国劇の俳優をへて昭和12年「青空浪士」で映画デビュー,時代劇の中堅スターとなる。戦後も東映の「丹下左膳」「右門捕物帖」「快傑黒頭巾」などのシリーズで人気をよんだ。晩年テレビドラマや映画「タンポポ」などで好演したが,昭和60年9月27日自殺。73歳。山口県出身。松山中学卒。本名は中富正三。
