Year of death: 17 September 1300 (30 October 1300) Year of birth: Joō 1 (1222) A samurai from the mid-to-late Kamakura period. His childhood name was Yakushimaru, and his first name was Yasunao. He served as Oinosuke, Tango no Kami, Dewa no Kami, and Hyogo no Kami. His Buddhist name was Doshin. His father was the second head of the Otomo clan, Chikahide, and his mother was the daughter of Miura Ietsugu. He held the positions of Bungo Shugoshoku and Chinzei Ipponbugyo before Ninji 3 (1242). During the Bun'ei and Koan Wars (1274 and 1281), he played an active role as a taisho (chief general) leading the vassals along with the Shoni clan. After the war, in order to stop the Shogunate from suing over the reward issue, the Chinzei Dangisho (Chinzei Discussion Office) was established in 1286 (Koan 9), and Yoritsune was a member of this office. He was also active in the restoration of Chinzei temples and shrines and in the creation of the Bungo Province Map of Fields. 没年:正安2.9.17(1300.10.30) 生年:貞応1(1222) 鎌倉中後期の武士。幼名薬師丸,初名泰直。大炊助,丹後守,出羽守,兵庫頭。法名道忍。父は大友家2代親秀,母は三浦家連の娘。仁治3(1242)年以前に豊後守護職,鎮西一方奉行職を得ている。文永・弘安の役(1274・1281)では,少弐氏と共に御家人を率いて大将として活躍した。戦後,幕府は恩賞問題の幕府出訴を止めるために,弘安9(1286)年に鎮西談議所を設けたが,頼泰もこのメンバーとなっている。また,鎮西寺社の復興や豊後国図田帳の作成などにも活躍。大友氏惣領家は,頼泰の代から本拠を豊後府内に置くようになった。 (飯沼賢司) 出典 朝日日本歴史人物事典:(株)朝日新聞出版朝日日本歴史人物事典について 情報 |
