...Afterwards, Okura Toraakira and Eitora succeeded him, and during Entora's generation, he moved to Edo, and was succeeded by Tozumi, Tonokyo, Torizato, Torahiro, Tobun, and Totake. In the Meiji era, Toratoshi returned to Nara, and Toraichi succeeded him, but the line was discontinued. The line was supported by disciples, and in 1941, Shigeyama Yagoro's (later Zenchiku Yagoro's) second son Kichijiro became the 24th head of the line, and the line was renamed Okura Yataro (1912-), and continues to this day. During the Edo period, many branches were established, including the Yasoemon family, Torakiyo's younger brother Torajiro founded the Yasoemon family, Eitora's younger brother Takenori founded the Chidayu family, and Torakiyo's younger brother Torasuke founded the Yadayu family. ...
