Karukayainko (English spelling) grey-headed lovebird

A bird of the order Psittacidae in the class Aves, family Psittacidae. A species endemic to Madagascar. A small, short-tailed species of the genus Bucconata, with a total length of 14 cm. Its head is grayish white and its body is green, and in females, the head is also green. It is less commonly kept as a pet than other species.

鳥綱オウム目オウム科の鳥。マダガスカル島特産種。小形で尾の短いボタンインコ属の1種で、全長14センチメートル。頭は灰白色で体は緑色、雌では頭も緑色である。飼い鳥としては他種より少ない。
