Born on October 13, 1888. The 12th head of the Okura school of kotsuzumi-kata. He studied under his father Nobuyoshi and Tani Ichinoshin, and made his debut in the Noh play "Iwafune" in 1901. He took on the stage name Rokuzo in 1933 and Choemon in 1964. He passed away on June 30, 1968, at the age of 79. He was from Tokyo. His real name was Kitaro, and his haiku name was Nobutomo.
