...Since Okura Haruzane went to Kyushu as a punitive expeditionary force in the Fujiwara no Sumitomo Rebellion during the Tenkei era (938-947), his descendants expanded their influence throughout Kyushu as Dazaifu officials, with his grandson Tanezai playing an active role in the Toi invasion. At the end of the Heian period, Okura (Harada) Tanenao, who was connected to the Taira government, was appointed Dazaifu Shoni, and many of his family members held important positions in Dazaifu and boasted of their influence, but they fell into decline with the downfall of the Taira. However, families with the original surname Okura, such as Harada, Akizuki, Mihara, Tajiri, Takahashi, Egami, and Hoshuzan, continued to be active in various places and played a defining role in Kyushu's medieval history. ...

…天慶年中(938‐947)，藤原純友の乱に追討使として大蔵春実が九州に下向して以来，孫種材が刀伊の入寇に活躍するなど，その子孫は大宰府の官人として九州管内の各地に勢力をのばした。平安末期，平氏政権と結びついた大蔵(原田)種直が大宰権少弐に任ぜられ一族の多くも大宰府の要職をしめて勢威をほこったが，平氏滅亡とともに没落した。しかし原田，秋月，三原，田尻，高橋，江上，宝珠山など大蔵を本姓とする諸氏はその後も各地に活躍し，九州中世史に規定的な役割を果たした。…
