...Japanese postcards are regulated as second-class mail under the Postal Law, and there are three types: regular postcards, reply postcards, and parcel postcards.

As of January 4, 1994, regular postcards cost 50 yen each, round-trip postcards cost 100 yen, and parcel postcards cost 50 yen each.
