A hot spring located in Minakami-machi, Gunma Prefecture, along the Takara River, a tributary of the Tone River. Simple spring. 69°C. It has a large amount of water and is famous for its open-air bath. It was called Shirataka-no-yu in the past. The hot spring is recorded on a national map from the 17th century. It is close to the artificial lakes Fujiwara Lake and Dogen Lake, and the Kaminohara Plateau. 群馬県みなかみ町,利根川の支流宝川に沿う温泉。単純泉。69℃。湯量が多く,露天風呂で有名。古く白鷹ノ湯といった。17世紀の国絵図に温泉の存在が記される。人工湖の藤原湖と洞元湖,上ノ原高原に近い。上越新幹線上毛高原駅,上越線水上駅からバスが通じる。
