Embalming
Techniques such as disinfection, embalming, and makeup for bodies that are commonly used in North America. Bodies begin to decompose immediately after death, and it is said that more than 60% of all bodies carry some kind of infectious bacteria. There is a growing awareness that these are necessary procedures to prevent infection, and specialized companies are now offering these services in Japan as well.
