A Japanese sake from Hokkaido. The name of the sake is taken from Sima Qian's "Records of the Grand Historian," and was chosen with the aim of creating the driest sake in the world. They offer Daiginjo, Ginjo, Junmai, and Honjozo varieties. Won gold medals at the National New Sake Tasting Competition in 1990, 1998, 1998, 2002, 2007-2009. The rice used is Miyamanishiki, Kirara 397, Yamada Nishiki, and more. The brewing water is underground water from the Ishikari River system. The brewery, Takasago Sake Brewery, was founded in 1899. 北海道の日本酒。酒名は、司馬遷の「史記」からとり、天下一の辛口の酒を目指して命名。大吟醸酒、吟醸酒、純米酒、本醸造酒をそろえる。平成2、8、10、14、19~21年度全国新酒鑑評会で金賞受賞。原料米は美山錦、きらら397、山田錦など。仕込み水は石狩川水系の伏流水。蔵元の「髙砂酒造」は明治32年(1899)創業。所在地は旭川市宮下通。
