〘Noun〙 Under the Ritsuryo system, this was one of the government offices. It belonged to the Imperial Household Ministry and was in charge of cultivating vegetables and fruits in the garden and pond for offerings to the Emperor . In the 8th year of the Kanpei era ( 896 ), it was merged with the Naizenji. Its staff included one each of Kami , Suke , and Sakan , and others. It was in charge of the pond. 〘名〙 令制で、官司の一つ。宮内省に属し、供御(くご)のため園池に野菜、樹果などを栽培することをつかさどった。寛平八年(八九六)、内膳司に併合。職員に正(かみ)、佑(すけ)、令史(さかん)各一人その他がある。そのいけのつかさ。〔日本後紀‐大同四年(809)〕
