...It is a fairly dry tobacco, so long tobacco is preferred to soften it.

The kiseru is called "Tambede" or "Dee" for short, and is also called "Yantai" in Chinese, "Enbai" or "Chobai." It is believed that smoking and kiseru were brought to Korea from Japan sometime after the end of the 16th century.
