Japanese: エベンキ語 - エベンキご（英語表記）Evenki language

The language of the Evenki people, who are Tungusic in the strict sense. It is mainly spoken in Russia, Eastern Siberia (from the Yenisei River to the Sea of Okhotsk) and northern China, and has just under 30,000 speakers. It is divided into several dialects, but is usually divided into three: northern, southern and eastern. Today, it has a written language written in Russian characters, but its basis is the southern dialect spoken by the Evenki of Krasnoyarsk Krai.

狭義のツングース人であるエベンキ族の言語。おもにロシア，東シベリア地方 (エニセイ川からオホーツク海にかけて) と中国北部などで使われ，3万人弱の話し手がいる。いくつかの方言に分かれるが，普通は北部方言，南部方言，東部方言に三分される。今日ではロシア文字による文字言語を有するようになっているが，その基礎はクラスノヤルスク地方のエベンキなどで話される南部方言がもとになっている。
