Alverni tribe - Alverni people

After the subjugation of the Ligurians, Allobroges, and Arverni (125-121 BC), southern Gaul also became a Roman province.

In order to solve the serious problems of the deterioration of Roman society itself due to the domination of overseas territories and the weakening of the Roman army, the Gracchi brothers (Tiberius and Gaius) became tribunes in succession (the elder in 133 BC, the younger in 123 BC) and launched a reform movement with a policy of redistributing land, but both were killed by their opponents.
