[Agricultural management type]
Given natural conditions, socio-economic conditions, and the personal circumstances of the manager, agricultural management forms are determined by the type of produce (crops and livestock) and processing (for example, mochi processing, ham and cheese, etc.) (called management departments), the combination of these (management organization), and the scale and degree of intensification of each management department and the entire management (degree of intensification). There are a variety of forms depending on the region and the era. A certain degree of classification of these is called a management type or farming type, and a formulation that is universal historically and regionally is called a management system. Farming methods such as the three-field system, the cereal grass system, and the rotation system that were seen during the modernization of Western agriculture can be called management systems.
