...Elevation 2295m. To the northeast, a series of volcanoes including Uraiwasugayama (2329m), Eboshidake (2230m), and Kasaboshiyama (1919m) form a chain. These mountain massifs are old volcanoes that erupted in the Miocene to Pliocene eras of the Tertiary Period, and are mainly composed of polypyroxene andesite.
