One of the Five Great Wisdom Kings, located in the south. A transliteration of the Sanskrit word Kundali. Described in the Dharani Jikkyo, translated by Ajikuta in the mid-7th century, he is also known as Gundari Yasha, Taisho Myo-o, and Kiri Kiri Myo-o. His form, which removes all obstacles, i.e. Vinayaka, and rules over Kangiten, comes in a variety of forms, including one-faced and eight-armed, as seen in the Five Great Wisdom Kings kept at Daigoji Temple, as well as four-faced and four-armed forms.
