This is the reservoir lake of the Uryu Second Dam on the Utsunai River in Horokanai Town, Uryu District, Hokkaido. Its water area is 177 hectares. Together with the reservoir lake formed by the Uryu First Dam, it is also called "Shumarinai Lake." The name comes from the Ainu words "Utsu" (rib) and "Nai" (river). 北海道雨竜郡幌加内町の宇津内川にある雨竜第二ダムのダム湖。湛水面積は177ヘクタール。雨竜第一ダムが形成するダム湖とあわせて「朱鞠内(しゅまりない)湖」とも呼ばれる。名称はアイヌ語の「ウツ(肋骨)」「ナイ(川)」から。一帯は朱鞠内道立自然公園に指定されている。
