Space industry

...The aerospace industry originally developed as an aircraft industry, but as advances in aircraft technology led to the appearance of missiles, rockets, and space equipment, the term came to include all of these (however, in Japan, missiles and the like are usually not included). The aircraft industry refers mainly to the industry that manufactures aircraft bodies, engines, parts, equipment, related materials, raw materials, etc., while the space industry refers to the industry that produces equipment that utilizes the characteristics of outer space, such as rockets and artificial satellites.
