Invaders Game

Japanese: インベーダーゲーム
Invaders Game
An arcade computer game that appeared in the late 1970s. The game involves dodging and shooting down invaders (space invaders) that attack on the screen. It was a simple game, but for the time, its fast-paced action created an explosive boom, leading to the appearance of specialized game arcades (Invader Houses) and coffee shops with game consoles. It was the forerunner of the shooting games that followed.
