Midnight fun - Yahanraku
[1][1] The title of a Gagaku piece. A piece in the Hei-cho style of Tang music. There is no dance. [Ryūmeishō (1133)] [2] One of the Ogie-bushi pieces. A piece that almost entirely adopts the Jiuta piece of the same name (lyrics by Izumi Akira, music by Togawa Kengyo). [3] A collection of haiku from the late Edo period. One volume. Compiled and written by Yosa Buson . Published in 1777 ( Anei 6 ). One volume of kasen (immortal verses), 43 verses from "Shunkozodai," 18 chapters from "Shunpu Utei Kyoku," 3 chapters from "Yogaoka Uta," and one verse from "Rougisuji." Utei Kyoku and Yogaoka Uta are works by Buson himself, and have a unique form in which hokku (a verse), kanshi (a Chinese poem), and choku (a long verse) are all harmoniously integrated into one.
