There are two types of parasitic parasites in the human body: pseudophyllotacteria and coccoidea, and humans can be either definitive hosts or intermediate hosts. A representative example of the pseudophyllotacteria is the broad-segmented worm Diphyllobothrium latum . In this parasite, the coracidium formed within the eggs hatches in water and is ingested by the first intermediate host, the water flea, to become a procercoid.
