Monkey wrench (English spelling)

Monkey wrench (English spelling)
A type of wrench, named after the shape of its head, which resembles that of a monkey (see image). There are six nominal dimensions (mm) ranging from 100 to 375, each of which is 10 mm longer than the overall length. It is useful because the opening of the jaw can be adjusted, but a large wrench is often used to screw off bolts. Also, the lower jaw, which moves, is weaker, so it is always turned in the direction of the lower jaw. [Sasatani Shigeyasu]
