[Medical Malpractice Insurance]
In countries such as the United States where medical disputes are common, medical malpractice insurance is widely used, and in Japan, medical liability insurance was launched by non-life insurance companies in 1963. After that, the Japan Medical Association Medical Liability Insurance was approved by the Ministry of Finance and launched in 1973, and has since become widespread.
