The former branches of the Kiso River have developed radially, forming dissected valleys 2 to 3 m deep on the alluvial fan surface. The alluvial fan of the Ibi River has a radius of about 10 km, and that of the Nagara River is about 6 km, and cities such as Ichinomiya, Gifu, and Ogaki are located at the fan tips of these alluvial fans. …
