Arctiidae

...Adults have pure white bodies and wings, black stripes on the back of the abdomen, and red sides. The Arctiidae family is a large family that includes both large and small species, with about 10,000 species known worldwide and about 100 known in Japan. Many of the adults are very brightly colored, such as white, red, or yellow, and perhaps because their body fluids are bitter, insectivorous birds and animals are reluctant to eat them.
