Inuotosse - Inuotosse

...It occupies the southeastern part of the Sanbongihara Plateau, with the Oirase River flowing east through the southern part. It is located between Towada City and Misawa City, and the Towada Kanko Electric Railway connects Towada City with Misawa Station on the Tohoku Main Line, but the town center is in Inuotose in the south, where National Route 45 runs. The lowlands along the Oirase River are rice paddy fields, and sugar beets were once cultivated on the plateau as a nationally encouraged crop, and a sugar factory was built in 1962, but it did not do well after that and closed in 1967.
